CRC access is restricted to **PittNet** For connecting to PittNet, see OAC's crc instructions (UPMC) or Pitt's GlobalConnect instructions (everywhere else) ===== Connecting from UPMC ===== Navigating within UPMC's firewall requires two steps, both documented by the Office of Academic Computing (OAC). First, connect to MS's cloud (OAC: AVD) and within that connection, jump to the CRC (OAC on CRC). As of 2025-09-08: - open https://windows.cloud.microsoft/ or Windows App using UPitt credentials - Chose/connect to Psychiatry AVD (Azure Virtual Desktop) - Use FastX to connect to psych.crc.pitt.edu port 443 as SSH and ignore SSL errors ==== freerdp ==== On linux there is no Windows App, but the development version of freerdp can connect to Azure Virtual Desktops using a rdpw file from arm wvd (gear icon->Download the rdp file).
