  * This wiki is better suited for interlinking, selective public publishing, and allowing edits from a wider audience. But it has fewer formatting options and a less accessible editing interface.
  * ''mkdocs'' (esp [[https://squidfunk.github.io/mkdocs-material/|material theme]], see [[https://github.com/pitt-crc/user-manual/|crc]], [[https://docs.flywheel.io|flywheel]], [[https://github.com/npacore/npacore.github.io/|npac]]) is better suited where documentation-as-code is appropriate (within or across code repositories! proper version control!). But does not provide restricted access options and has the largest barrier to editing.
